Increasing numbers of Americans are saying they are neither Democrats or
Republicans, declaring themselves independent. More people, in fact, are rejecting the need
for parties, the two-party system, and the political culture that says we must conform to
both.
According to 2003 USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll, 35% of Americans now
consider themselves independent. That’s 72 million of us, young voters and older voters.
We got the power let´s use it.
