In the third part of the story it says: Their biggest scare came the next day, when the Farley Mowat headed full speed at the Oriental Bluebird, in an effort to sideswipe the Japanese whaling supply ship. On impact, the front end of the Japanese ship headed toward the Farley Mowat's back end, where containers of aviation fluid were stored. The fluid was for a helicopter following the Farley Mowat during its journey.

But the Oriental Bluebird slowed and moved out of the way.

"I was right next to the aviation fluid," Capolongo said. "We would have been blown up instantly."

In case you missed it and unless you are totally clueless, "Aviation Fluid" is a new politically correct term for JET FUEL! So they carry a carcinogen fuel on their boat as they play chicken with the bigger ship??? If the ships collide kaboom! These idiots who want to help the environment are risking spilling Jet Fuel in the Ocean killing more whales than they are trying to save!
